Tricia Brasseaux
传:Tricia Brasseaux is SVP of Development & Residential Planning for Sandow Lakes, an upcoming 33,000-acre premier Texas community under the Sandow Lakes Ranch Venture, LLC. From 2006 to 2024, Brasseaux managed successful projects for Bridgeland, currently owned by Howard Hughes, from conception to completion. Using her 25+ years of experience, she leads teams to create timeless places and memorable experiences, building community while driving sustainable, long-term growth and shareholder value. It’s fulfilling for Brasseaux to see her vision realized when a parcel of land turns into usable space that inspires people to commune together with architecture and nature, enriching their lives. Her passion for creating lifestyles for communities extends from her love of the outdoors. She seeks to focus first on pedestrian corridors and then on vehicular circulation. She also puts her signature on custom-designed areas by incorporating technology, public art, and creative architecture. Her efforts of envisioning unique uses of space and creative amenities have aided her with top-selling communities in the nation. Brasseaux earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Horticulture from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. Originally from Louisiana, she resides in Katy, Texas, with her husband and two boys. Brasseaux’s strong advocacy for outdoor-focused community building inspired Texas House Bill 1410 in 2021’s 87th Texas Legislative Session (authored by Texas State Rep. Jim Murphy and Senator Brandon Creighton, and supported by ABHR and Schwartz, Page and Harding, Houston Wilderness and West Houston Association) to triple funding that certain special districts can access for green space, parks and recreation. Brasseaux currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Houston Wilderness, protecting and preserving the ecoregions of Greater Houston. She is a 2020 Rising Leader graduate of the West Houston Association, leading for quality growth in the greater West Houston area, and past vice-chair for its Parks, Recreation & Open Space Committee. Brasseaux holds an elected position on the Landscape Architecture Professional Advisory Board (LAND PAB) for the Department of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture (LAUP) at Texas A&M University which leads strategic growth for students and the department.
