President and CEO
传:
New York City (October 2006) - The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has selected Rosanne Haggerty as a member of its Inner-City Advisors Program. The ULI Inner-City Advisors Program is designed to draw upon the expertise of a panel of influential executives of independent, nonprofit, community-based organizations. These executives share information and knowledge on inner-city development matters for the benefit of ULI's national research efforts, as well as present and participate in education and outreach programs. In serving on the panel, these advisors are able to expand their capacity for partnerships, gain insights into the private, for-profit real estate development community, receive additional recognition for their organizations, and obtain objective information documenting today's best practices in land use and real estate development. Haggerty is president of New York's Common Ground Community, a non-profit housing and community development organization whose mission is to end homelessness through innovative programs that transform people, buildings and communities. The organization is involved in a variety of programs, including those designed to prevent homelessness; move homeless people from the streets into homes; create new housing; and impact public policy with regards to housing and the homeless. Haggerty was nominated for the panel by the New York District Council of ULI (ULI New York). "We are thrilled to work with Rosanne to extend the reach and impact of ULI and the New York District Council as we study housing issues," said ULI New York Chair Merrie Frankel. "We also intend to bring the experiences and knowledge of ULI's members in areas where they compliment the needs and interests related to her body of work. "We envision, through her role as Inner City Advisor for New York, Rosanne contributing her knowledge on inner city development matters and sharing best practices in supportive housing solutions," said Frankel, "based on the innovations that have been carried out by Common Ground, as well as those by other organizations working to address this important area in other urban centers around the world." 会员名录  Arrow
