Perry was born in Antigua, West Indies and migrated to the U.S. in 1970, two weeks after his 15th birthday, to complete his education. Two years later, after completing high school at Riverdale Country School in New York City, Egbert continued his educational career at the University of Pennsylvania. An honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Perry received both a Bachelor of Science (1976) and Master of Science degrees (1979) in Civil Engineering from the University's Towne School, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting (1978) from Wharton School of Business. In 1990, he was elected as the eleventh graduate to be named to the "Gallery of Distinguished Engineering Alumni" of the University's Engineering School. At the end of 1992, Perry left his position at Russell and founded The Integral Group, LLC ("Integral"), with a thoughtful and deliberate focus on (re)building urban centers, and implementing revitalization strategies. Today, Integral is a holding company with subsidiaries that specialize in real estate development, construction management, property management and asset management. The Company and its subsidiaries are committed to, and remain focused on, being a premier urban developer by creating value in cities and rebuilding communities. In Integral's first eight (8) years of existence, the company, under Perry's leadership, has developed a reputation as an innovator in the field of urban infill mixed-use development.
