Jon Tanaka

传：Mr. Tanaka is Senior Managing Director and Country Head overseeing new business initiatives throughout Japan. He brings more than 25 years of Japan real estate development and investment experience to the firm. Before joining Hines, he was Managing Director, Head of Japan Real Estate and member of the investment committee for Angelo Gordon’s pan-Asia real estate investment team. Previously, he was Managing Director at RREEF Japan. Tanaka is a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) and served as Vice Chairman of ULI Japan. Tanaka earned a B.A. degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He also attended the Graduate School of Architecture at Kyoto University. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
