John Mansour

Biography: JOHN G. MANSOUR PARTNER/CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Serving as Partner and Chief Development Officer, John has been with The Athens Group since 1992 and actively involved in managing numerous acquisitions and developments; including Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina, 1 Hotel Toronto, and as Project Manager for five years at Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, the award-winning property on the exclusive Kona-Kohala Coast of Hawai’i Island that has achieved $3.3 billion in total residential sales since 1996. Following that project’s completion and a move back to Phoenix to open and establish Athens corporate headquarters, John moved to Laguna Beach to act as Project Principal overseeing Montage Laguna Beach. After its successful entitling and completion, he managed the marketing and sales effort for both the Residences in Laguna and the Montage Residences, Beverly Hills. Most recently, John has spent the last several years engaged in the executive management of Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Residences within Costa Rica’s renowned Peninsula Papagayo, and Asher Adams Hotel, an Autograph Collection adaptive reuse of the Union Pacific train depot in Salt Lake City; both scheduled to debut in late 2024. John holds a degree in Biology (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Arizona, and has attended the University of Illinois, College of Medicine. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and has served in a leadership capacity for RDC Gold Council. John is active with numerous community and philanthropic organizations in Laguna Beach where he resides with his wife.
