Biography:
Nathan joined Rose in 2004 where he oversees the acquisition and preservation of affordable and mixed-income multifamily housing in walkable, transit-oriented locations nationally. He has led the investment of seven equity funds in more than $2 billion of property investments, helping Rose grow into one of the country’s leading impact managers in the field with a portfolio of 18,000 units. Nathan is a member of the firm’s management team and investment committee as well as internal advisory committees focused on anti-racism, compliance, risk, and resilience. Externally, Nathan is a member of the Urban Land Institute Affordable Workforce Housing Council, the National Multi Housing Council, the Pension Real Estate Association, and the 13th class of the Aspen Institute First Movers Fellowship. Nathan serves on the board trustees for Goddard Riverside, a 130-year-old settlement house in New York City that serves low-income families and seniors, and on the board of trustees for the Yale-China Association, a nonprofit administering education, arts, and healthcare exchanges between the United States and P.R.
