Lara Diettrich
Biographie: Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona growing up playing several sports at the city/district/state and national level (soccer, track, cross country, basketball, swimming). Went to Arizona State University for undergraduate studies in liberal arts Studied abroad twice in high school in France and throughout Europe. Took a semester off to sail from St. Augustine, FL for six months which resulted in me moving there in 1995. Finished undergraduate studies with a Bachelor's degree (Political Science) and a Master's degree (Public Administration/Policy Analysis) at the University of North Florida. Worked for the City of Jacksonville as a long range, neighborhood action, brownfield planner and preparing demographic studies and data for the City; and served as the Redevelopment Specials for the former Economic Development Commission (now the Downtown Investment Authority) from 2001-2006. Served as the Planning Practice Leader for Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. from 2006-2011. Opened Diettrich Planning from 2011-2023. Served as Baker County's Community Development Director from 2019-2022. Currently serve as a Senior Planner for Halff Associates Inc. in the Northeast Florida office and serve on the Energy Committee. Serve on the Advisory Board of Directors for the North Florida Council. Love to golf, watch sports, cook, play pool, swim and garden.
