Biographie:
John Goff, the Founder & Managing Principal of DaVinci Development Collaborative, LLC, has developed over $4 billion of highly visible and sophisticated commercial real estate development projects throughout the Southeast and United States. He draws upon more than 40 years of experience and has honed a keen ability to lead complex, client-centric, urban, mixed-use projects by orchestrating levels of support and leadership from the boardroom to the job site. John’s key areas of expertise include Strategic Planning, Public/Private Partnerships, Financial Analysis and Pro Forma Development, Conceptual Design Analysis, Overall Senior Project Implementation, Accountability for Project Development, Construction Execution, and Acquisition Due Diligence. Since its founding in 2014, DaVinci Development, led by John and his team, has worked on notable projects, including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank hospital and North Druid Hills campus - one of Georgia's largest healthcare projects; The Stitch in Atlanta - a proposed highway cap project; National Center for Civil and Human Rights - a museum dedicated to the achievements of the US civil rights movement and the broader human rights movement worldwide; the Atlanta Public Training Center - a collaboration with Atlanta Police Foundation to develop a cutting-edge campus for training and operational needs across multiple law enforcement agencies; The Trust at East Lake - a partnership with the Atlanta Land Trust creating permanently affordable housing; Flatiron City - preservation renovation of Atlanta's oldest standing building; and the Seventh & Tryon redevelopment in Charlotte, NC - a complex public-private partnership revitalizing a key Uptown multi-block area. With over 45 years in real estate development, John spent 17 years as Senior Vice President of Development at Cousins Properties, overseeing entitlements, design, and construction for complex urban mixed-use projects. Notable projects include Gateway Village (Charlotte), Terminus development (Atlanta), Emory Point Apartments/Emory Conference Center Hotel (Atlanta), and the College Football Hall of Fame (Atlanta). John has been deeply engaged with both ULI and Habitat for Humanity, where he has held multiple leadership roles including District Council Chair and Chairman of the Board, respectively. He has called Atlanta home since 1996, and he and his wife are currently raising their grandson, Aiden. He enjoys offshore blue water sailing, backcountry horseback riding, and international travel.
