Biography:
Christina's marketing and brand management experience spans various industries and includes some of the most recognized companies in the nation such as The Walt Disney Company, ABC Radio Networks, CBS Corp., Frito Lay, and Viking Cruises. Hillwood was a natural fit for this Texas native who sees the company as a strong brand with even stronger opportunities ahead. As the Director of Marketing for Hillwood Communities, Christina led the efforts to transition the company’s traditional marketing approach to one that is data-driven and digital-centric, enabling hyper-targeting relevant audiences in a cost effective and measurable manner. She developed and implemented multi-channel marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and increase home sales within nine master-planned residential communities across DFW, Houston and Austin. Strategies included email marketing, digital advertising (SEO, SEM, display, paid search, mobile, paid social, streaming advertising, text, social media presence) and traditional advertising (OOH, print, broadcast, direct mail), realtor outreach, public relations, and special events. Having relocated from Los Angeles to Dallas to join Hillwood, Christina enjoys the satisfaction and discovery of being a tourist in her own city. Her favorite pastimes are those that focus on expression and exploration — whether she's redesigning a room, discovering new music, or immersing herself in another country or culture through world travel. Christina holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and French from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in marketing from Texas Christian University.
