Donald Alexis
Biography: In the past 10 years, Donald has established Caribbean Integration Community Development as a premiere neighborhood developer in Mattapan and Providence, with over $100 million dollars of real estate development. Donald manages the due diligence phase, financial modeling, market analysis, design phase of each project and the negotiations of public financing agreements. Donald’s philosophy is community-centric. He works to actively engage individuals and businesses in the economic and social conversations that spur real estate investment, community development and growth. He encourages the disenfranchised to become more involved, to hold a real stake in their community Donald is the Founder of Caribbean Integration Community Development (CICD) an aordable housing and community development organization that focuses on neighborhoods with large Caribbean populations. Donald’s work and CICD’s organizational success have earned him these recent recognitions: • Just last month, Donald was one of 9 Boston leaders featured in Boston Business Journal’s feature on solving racial household inequality. • In 2020, he was named “40 under 40,” by the Boston Business Journal; • Named a 2018 Boston Changemaker by HUB-Week, founded by The Boston Globe, Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital and MIT. • Recipient of the 2017 U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce’s “Haitian-American Young Professionals Award.” Doanld earned a BS in Computer Science from the UMASS Dartmouth and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from Northeastern University.
