Marianne Ajemian

Biography:
Marianne Ajemian is a partner with Nutter McClennen & Fish, a full-service law firm headquartered in Boston and she represents clients, nationally and locally, in complex transactional matters. Marianne has significant expertise in sophisticated investment and financing transactions, including, joint venture, preferred equity and partnership transactions, construction, permanent and mezzanine loans, sale/leaseback transactions, intercreditor arrangements, loan acquisitions and dispositions and workouts. Marianne also advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, development, dispositions and leasing involving a broad range of projects, including mixed-use and transit-oriented developments, downtown and suburban office buildings, research and development projects, retail and industrial properties, multi-family projects, hotels and institutional uses. Marianne has particular experience in the healthcare and senior housing industries. Marianne also has extensive experience representing clients in complex portfolio transactions, and has served as the lead transactional counsel for various publicly held entities. Marianne is a past president of the Commercial Real Estate Women Network and of New England Women in Real Estate (NEWIRE). In 2006, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce honored Marianne with a Pinnacle Award for Achievement in the Professions, in 2007, she received NEWIRE’s Leadership Award and in 2023 she was named the Real Estate Attorney of the Year by the Boston Real Estate TImes.
