Russell Appel

Biography: Russell Appel President Praedium Group L.P. Russell L. Appel is a managing director of Credit Suisse First Boston, an international corporate and investment banking firm. He manages the Praedium Funds, which is a group of opportunistic real estate and distressed mortgage funds. Prior to this, Mr. Appel managed the Commercial Finance Group for two years from 1991 to 1993 and then from 1993 to 1994 he managed the Mortgage Principal Transactions Group. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Appel worked in the Real Estate Department at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Appel received both his BS and MBA from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
