Holly Bolton

Biography: I grew up with my nose in a book and a pencil in my hand. Today, I apply that love of story to my role as owner of 3chord Marketing, a marketing communications firm that helps design and construction firms understand and connect with their audiences through research, strategy, and content creation. My 20 years of experience include serving in a variety of marketing, business development, and corporate communication roles for architecture and engineering firms. Co-author of the book A/E/C Marketing Fundamentals and the SMPS Foundation white paper, “The Client’s Use of Social Media and Social Networking,” I'm also an author for Urban Land online, a publication of the Urban Land Institute. I serve on the ULI Indiana board as communications chair and am a board member for Rebuilding Together Indianapolis. A Certified Professional Services Marketer and a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, I'm grateful to have been named among ENR Midwest’s 20 under 40 in 2016. I have a bachelor of science in public relations with a creative writing minor from the University of Central Missouri. For the past 10 years, my husband and I have been on a quest to visit all of the U.S. national parks; I writes about our adventures as a contributing blogger on Hashtag59.com.
