Jay Berlinsky

Biography:
Jay Berlinsky is the founder and owner of SC Advisors. A fifth-generation Central Floridian with over thirty-five years of development experience, Jay brings a wealth of knowledge, as well as a unique understanding of the Central Florida market. Jay’s proven history as a client advocate and leader is evidenced by his portfolio of landmark projects that have shaped our city and region. His projects have included SunTrust Tower, CNL Tower II, CRU’s World Headquarters, Wycliffe Bible Translators’ World Headquarters. His work in public/private ventures includes his role as lead advisor to the City of Orlando and Orlando Magic on the Master Community Venue Plan – a 1.5-billion-dollar public/private development plan to build Amway Center, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing arts, and reconstruction of Camping World Stadium. SCA’s focus continues to build community and steward the highest levels of integrated project planning, design, and implementation. SCA played a lead role and client advocate for Dr. Phillips Charities’ strategic plan to enhance the Central Florida community and generate revenue to further Dr. Phillips’ charitable initiatives. This included the Spring Lake campus and the recently opened Packing District. He has played a similar role in the planning and built-out of the Storey Park master plan in Southeast Orange County and the legacy assets of Hughes Inc. Jay currently serves on the ULI Advisory Board, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board and has held similar positions with Habitat for Humanity, and numerous other non-profits. Jay received a BBA/Finance degree from Baylor University. He enjoys being a father and grandfather to three daughters and two grandkids and always pursuing a lifelong interest in fly fishing.
