Landon Browning
Biography: Landon Browning is Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Shea Properties, managing industrial, multifamily and retail acquisitions in Northern California. Previously, Landon was Acquisition Manager and Senior Development Manager at Lennar Urban, where he was responsible for acquisition, finance and development activities in San Francisco. As such, he lead development for over 700,000sf of residential mixed-use construction and closed on over $450M of land and multifamily assets. Prior to joining Lennar Urban, Landon was a development consultant and structural engineer where he managed design and oversaw construction for $1.75B of residential, commercial, hospitality, entertainment and government projects. He holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a MS degree in Structural Engineering from UCLA. Landon earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving as Vice Chairman of the Urban Development/Mixed-Use Council (Blue Flight), and is a member of the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association. Landon is also an active member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and ICSC, the International Council of Shopping Centers, in San Francisco and the West Coast.
