Biography:
MarySue Barrett is President of the Metropolitan Planning Council, an independent change-maker working to build a better, bolder, more equitable future for everyone. Ms. Barrett has led MPC since 1996, frequently advising governmental partners and civic collaboratives, and shaping the public conversation through the media. She served in former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley's Administration as his chief of policy and has guided transition committees for current Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Illinois Governor J.B Pritzker. She also serves on the Board for IFF and for Current and is a Nonresident Senior Fellow with the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution. She is an active member of The Chicago Network and the Economic Club of Chicago and a proud Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow. Member Directory  Arrow
