Mitchell Brown

Biography: Mitch Brown is Senior Managing Director overseeing Greystar’s active adult platform. In this role he provides strategic guidance and direction to a cross functional team that includes operations, sales, marketing and investment and asset management for the company’s rapidly growing portfolio of active adult apartment home communities. He also works closely with Greystar development teams across the US on new projects including sourcing new locations, feasibility analysis, programming, design and transition to operations. Prior to joining Greystar, Mitch served as Chief Development Officer for Kisco Senior Living, a full-service senior living owner and operator. He is past Chair and active member of the ULI Senior Housing Council and has been an active member of the American Seniors Housing Association for over 20 years. He holds a BA degree from The Evergreen State College and earned his MA from UCLA’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning.
