Paul Beegan

Biography:
Paul Beegan is the owner of Beegan Architectural Design located in Lakewood, Ohio. Formed in 2007, the practice is focused on urban renewal & re-development, adaptive re-use, and historic preservation. Paul has 25 years of experience in the practice of architecture serving clients in the commercial office, multi-family, and retail arenas. Paul is registered to practice architecture in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Tennessee. Paul is a member of the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA), and the National Council for Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB). Paul also is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves as the chair of the Regional Product Council for the Cleveland chapter. Paul is actively involved in his home community and has served on the board of Lakewood Alive, the nonprofit community development organization for the City of Lakewood. In that capacity he served on the design committee and as chair of both the housing committee. Paul is an alumnus of the Cleveland Bridge Builders and has served as chairperson of the St. Luke Parish Pastoral Council in Lakewood, Ohio. Paul is a proud alumnus of St. Ignatius High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering and has a Master of Architecture degree from Miami University. Paul has served as a guest critic for the Kent State School of Architecture’s graduate program.
