Stephen R. Blank Senior Fellow, Finance Urban Land Institute Business Experience: 1998-present Urban Land Institute-Senior Fellow. Responsible for assisting the Urban Land Institute, a non-profit education and research institute which studies land use and real estate development policy and practice. In expanding its' real estate capital markets information and education programs, participating in ULI's conferences on finance, assisting in the preparation of the finance section of ULI's annual real estate forecast, researching and writing papers on finance issues; and participating at ULI events and industry related meetings and seminars. 1998-present Columbia University Graduate School of Business-professor, real estate. 1993-1998 CIBC Oppenheimer Corporation-managing director.
