Tracey Brownfield
Biography: Tracey Brownfield is the co-founder and President of Land Veritas, a San Francisco Bay Area based Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBENC and Supplier Clearinghouse Certified) that owns two compensatory mitigation banks comprising 4,600 acres of land in Southern California. Its Petersen Ranch Mitigation Bank is the largest bank in California and the only one in Los Angeles County. Ms. Brownfield started her career in 1983 at Copley Real Estate Advisors where she was responsible for joint venture real estate development projects in California. Since that time Brownfield has been the operating partner for a number of large-scale entitlement and development projects in Virginia and California. Brownfield received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BS with Distinction from the University of Virginia. She serves on the Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, was past President of the Virginia Commonwealth University Real Estate Foundation, and is active in trade organizations and as a speaker at industry conferences and as a college lecturer. She serves on the board of The Carson Companies, a Newport Beach-based private real estate investment trust. The San Francisco Business Times also honored Brownfield as a “2011 Northern California Woman of Influence”.
