Charles Charlan

Biography: Charles L. Charlan Project Designer Charlan Brock & Associates, Inc. Mr. Charlan is one of the two founding principals of Charlan Brock & Associates, Inc., an architectural firm formed in 1981. Mr. Charlan has headed the marketing and strategic planning for the firm, while sharing the responsibilities for much of the initial programming and conceptual land planning and architectural design. Mr. Charlan is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a registered Architect in seven states and has NCARB certification. He and his firm have been honored with over one hundred major design awards for apartment, housing and resort housing work. He is a frequent speaker at housing and resort conferences and has been asked quite often to contribute articles to Builder, Professional Builder, Southeast Home Builder, Florida Home Building and Multi-Housing News. Mr. Charlan is also past President of the All Suites Hotel/Motel Association. One of Mr. Charlan's highest commitments is to finding answers and solutions to housing questions on a regional and national level. He has it as his mission to pass on the understanding that homelessness and housing affordability must be dealt with from a big picture prospective.
