Dan Cohen

Biography: Dan has three decades of experience in real estate, including planning, investment, and development. His focus has largely been on developing placemaking-centric urban infill mixed-use projects. Dan leads Urban DNA, an investment and development firm focused on projects in Colorado. Dan was formerly President of AC Development, the real estate investment and development arm of the Coors Family, where he led the development of a large mixed-use project in Golden. Colorado called Clayworks. His prior positions include Senior Vice President of Mixed-Use Development for McWhinney, Vice President for Catellus, and Director of Planning for Catellus' Mission Bay project in San Francisco. Dan holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and earned his Master of City Planning from MIT. In terms of his ULI participation, some of Dan's experience includes the following: past executive committee member of the Colorado District Council; past co-chair of the Urban Mobility committee for ULI Colorado, past member of UDMUC Platinum product council, and current member of the Technical Advisory Panel committee for ULI Colorado.
