Biography:
Dan Corey serves AECOMs Deputy Practice Leader for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). He has 22 years of experience (of which 15 have been with AECOM) having served as Project Manager, Project Engineer of the entire ITS life-cycle from strategic planning (traditional projects and connected vehicles) through operations and maintenance, as well as project management. Mr. Corey’s duties include the creation of ITS Strategic and TSM&O Plans, ITS ConOps, oversight of TMC and Tolling operations, the design and deployment of field devices (CCTV, DMS, Detection, DSRC), Connected Vehicle planning and deployments, TMC and ATMS integration, systems testing, incident/emergency management planning and design, corridor and safety improvement studies. He has prepared numerous contract packages (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, RFP Best Value, and PPP) for numerous Departments of Transportation and government agencies throughout the country.
