Biography:
Currently British Consul General in Los Angeles, representing the UK in the US South West: Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii. Prior to this, Emily was a Senior Civil Servant at the Department for International Trade. Roles include as Deputy CEO for the Prime Minister’s UK-Africa Investment Summit; Deputy Director, International Strategy covering Africa and the Americas; Deputy Director, Sectors Group; DIT Director at the British Embassy Tehran; head of the trade team at the British Embassy Stockholm; head of the private office to the Minister for Employment Relations & Consumer Affairs at the Department for Business Innovation & Skills; and advising on the creation of the UK Green Investment Bank. Before joining the civil service, Emily's experience includes working as a lawyer, at Allen & Overy and Baker & McKenzie. Emily studied law at Cambridge University. Member Directory  Arrow
