Jaegap Chung

Biography: Jaegap Chung graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto. He has extensive experience in a wide range of project types and sizes with a specialization in high-end residential design. Jaegap has collaborated closely with Core Development Group, completing several feasibility studies including several that are part of the scope of this proposal. Jaegap brings a keen sense of design and well-developed project management skills to each project, enabling clients to gain a complete understanding of the design and process. He has an intuitive understanding of proportions and pays careful attention to craftsmanship and materiality, while being able to create design opportunities in unexpected places. Building on these architectural skills is his ability to forge collaborative relationships across disciplines, streamlining communication and maximizing both the value and quality of a project. Jaegap founded Studio JCI with Sue Jean Chung in 2007 with a shared goal to create classic, timeless buildings that contribute to the social, economic and cultural fabric of the built environment.
