Kathleen Carey

Biography:
Kathleen Carey is the Community Impact Leader at Gensler, where she has global responsibility for all of Gensler’s community engagement efforts, as the firm tackles some of the major problems facing urban areas today. Carey joined Gensler in April of 2018 and heads up the firm’s volunteer and pro bono work as well as its philanthropic efforts. Prior to joining Gensler, she spent five years with the Urban Land Institute, first as the Institute’s Chief Content Officer and most recently as President and CEO of the Urban Land Institute Foundation. Prior to ULI, Carey spent 17 years at GE Capital Real Estate where she was a Senior Vice President with global portfolio responsibilities.
