Dr. Lorin Carter is an integral partner in impact, from working to secure a groundbreaking $6Million client equitable development award from JPMorgan Chase Foundation to uplift neighborhoods & positively impact residents & businesses, to leading & authoring the Southern Gateway Deck Park equitable development plan leveraging $80+ million in infrastructure investment for social, environmental, & economic good, to the holistic community development of The Bottom District with coordinated housing, beautification, job skills, capacity building, and green infrastructure improvements that are returning the community to its historical vibrancy after 50+yrs. without substantial public or private investment. Dr. Carter's impact at CSEC extends globally, conducting a community needs & strength assessment for Girl Scouts (NTX) and (DFW) Urban League, delivering a keynote on housing issues in Washington, and co-authoring Urban Land Institute guidance on DEI in real estate development.
