Coleman is a Senior Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group where she is responsible for the execution of capital markets transactions including dispositions, structured finance transactions, loan sales on behalf of financial institutions and special servicers, and real estate investment banking services. She is a senior team member of the Special Asset Services unit, which has completed over $11 billion of advisory and transaction engagements for financial institutions related to restructurings and workouts, non-performing individual and portfolio loan sales and the sales of assets and notes. To date in 2011, Maggie has closed approximately $100 million in note sale transactions and is marketing another $250 million in note sale transactions. Maggie also specializes in strategic planning, new business development across business lines for capital markets, managing existing client relationships, and strategic marketing to help identify opportunities, new approaches and emerging trends on behalf of clients. During her tenure in capital markets she has focused on the marketing and execution of transactions across property types and the negotiation of deal points on behalf of private equity firms, REITs, private investors, and financial institutions. During her tenure in capital markets, Maggie has advised on projects comprising over 200 million square feet worth over $7.0 billion in value. In 2010, Maggie was a Top Achiever within Jones Lang LaSalle. Previously, Ms. Coleman worked with the Staubach Company as a Director within the company’s capital markets group. Prior to joining Staubach, Maggie worked as a Program Manager for the LinkShare Corporation, where she provided strategic planning and negotiated transactions on behalf of clients such as GE Capital Commercial Finance, American Express, Apple, Dell, and Walmart. Early in her career, she worked in New York City as an analyst for Fleming Asset Management, the US subsidiary of Robert Fleming Inc. Maggie also served as a White House Intern in the office of the Honorable Al Gore Jr., the 45th Vice President of the United States. Education and Affiliation Ms Coleman received a masters degree from the University of Chicago and completed 2 additional years in a PhD program at this institution. She also earned a bachelors degree in business economics & public policy (BEPP) and international business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. She was the recipient of the BEPP department's prestigious Lionel D. Edie Award, presented to the highest ranking student in the department.
