Viola Chee

Biography: Viola is Managing Director, Finance at 8M Real Estate, a company specialised in Singapore conservation shophouse investments. She has more than 14 years’ experience in real estate fund administration, financial operations and debt financing. Prior to joining 8M, she held positions at Silkroad Property Partners and LaSalle Investment Management that executed varying investment strategies from value-add to opportunistic. Viola graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance majors), returned to Singapore and kicked off her career as an auditor at Ernst and Young. She is passionate about helping the younger generation, and volunteers with Junior Achievement Singapore, a non-profit organisation that inspires and prepares students to succeed in a global economy. In her free time, she patiently practises jazz piano and dreams of a day she could play at a hotel lobby.
