Brian Delaney
Biography: Brian Delaney is Senior Managing Director—U.S. at QIC, a global diversified alternatives asset manager with over $81.9 (AUS) billion funds under management specialising in infrastructure, real estate, liquid strategies, private capital and multi-asset solutions. He is a funds management professional with a deep understanding of the pension markets in Australia and the U.S. Brian leads QIC’s efforts in the U.S., providing insights on investment trends to inform corporate strategy, and share market intelligence with the firm’s investment teams. Brian chairs a QIC U.S. Leadership Forum comprising representatives from QIC Global Real Estate, Global Infrastructure and Global Private Capital, responsible for implementing QIC’s U.S. strategy. He also chairs QIC’s three U.S. subsidiary boards. Before joining QIC in 2012 as Executive Director of Strategy, Clients & Global Markets, Brian was with AMP Capital for 14 years as Executive Director of the Client, Product & Marketing division, responsible for all Institutional, retail and self-managed super fund (SMSF) strategy in Australia. He was also a member of the Executive Team driving global strategy, risk measurement and financial outcomes across the firm. Brian is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a director of Basketball Australia, where he chairs the High Performance Commission. He is a former member of the Boards of Directors of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA), Lonsec Fiscal Holdings, the Investment Management & Consultant Association (IMCA) and CCube Financial Software.
