David Durning

Biography:
David Durning is President and Chief Executive Officer of PGIM Real Estate Finance and Chairman of the Global Debt Real Estate Businesses for PGIM. He is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s global commercial real estate finance and agriculture investment businesses. PGIM Real Estate Finance is one of the largest providers of commercial mortgages in the United States with $96.2 billion in assets under management and administration as of December 31, 2018 virtually all of which were loans originated by the company. David is located in Chicago. David was named PGIM Real Estate Finance’s President and CEO in April 2013. Since joining the company as an investment analyst in 1988, David assumed increased responsibility in various roles throughout the real estate and mortgage investment units. Prior to his appointment, he was senior managing director, overseeing the company’s agency lending businesses and loan production globally. Previously, he was a lending officer at Chemical Bank. David received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. David is a member of PGIM’s Investment and Risk Management Committees and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CFA Institute.
