Donald Davies

Biography: Don, President of MKA and an industry recognized leader in high-rise and mixed-use buildings, is sought out for his creativity, international expertise, and sustainably driven innovations. Don’s projects are located in more than 50 major metropolitan centers and 18 countries, including China and India. His portfolio includes over 47 PBSD towers in areas of high seismicity and towers up to 105 stories tall. Don is an innovator in the development of new building approaches for lowering the embodied carbon footprint of construction, including his being a founding member of both the Carbon Leadership forum, and Building Transparency.org who is responsible for the Embodied Carbon in Construction Calculator (EC3). He has authored more than 15 publications on tall building systems and embodied carbon optimization.
