Kevin Dow

Biography: A seasoned and energetic executive, Kevin Dow has enjoyed a career in the corporate, non-profit, and public sectors. In April of 2018, he was appointed the first Executive Director (and employee) of the Friends of the Rail Park, a non-profit organization with a vision of reimagining a 3-mile abandoned rail road into a linear park in the heart of Philadelphia. Expected to be completed in phases, the first quarter mile was opened in June 2018 and Dow is spearheading fundraising, community engagement, park programming and stewardship, as well as collaborating with community stakeholders to complete the organization's full three-mile vision. Prior to the Rail Park, Kevin held leadership positions at United Way, the City of Philadelphia’s Commerce Department and Wachovia (now Wells Fargo). Mr. Dow earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Morehouse College and an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. He currently serves as a trustee for Harcum College and on the board of directors for the Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia Academies Inc., the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation and the Philadelphia Advisory Board for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. He is also a founding member of the Philadelphia Black Giving Circle. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kevin and his family live in Radnor Pennsylvania.
