Kim Diamond
Biography: Kim Diamond As Senior Vice President of Development & Operations for Trumark Urban, Ms. Diamond oversees all aspects of the company’s operations and development, including project entitlement management and due diligence oversight, as well as customer care and warranty management. Trumark Urban is a 27-year old company with an exemplary track record of creating mixed-use, residentially-centric development projects throughout San Francisco, Los Angeles, and beyond. Prior to Trumark, Kim was a Principal and Co-Founder of 7x7 Development. 7x7 is an innovative, community-focused real estate development and investment firm in SF. Prior to forming 7x7, in early 2009, Ms. Diamond formed ev8 to provide clients with a broad array of real estate development and advisory services, including asset acquisition strategies, entitlement management and community and stakeholder outreach. ev8’s clients included: Trumark Urban, Lennar Urban, Avalon Bay, Sack Properties, Bard Consulting, among others. Prior to forming ev8, Ms. Diamond was Senior Manager of Land Acquisitions and Entitlements at Pulte Homes. At Pulte, Ms. Diamond was responsible for sourcing and underwriting new, high-density, for-sale land acquisition opportunities in San Francisco and the East Bay and securing project entitlements. She also served as the Northern California representative on Pulte’s national “Green Team” to spearhead green building efforts and initiatives. Previously, Ms. Diamond worked as a Project Director at Catellus, a developer of large-scale urban development projects. At Catellus, she managed entitlements, financing, design and construction of a variety of master planned and urban infill rental and for-sale residential communities throughout the Bay Area, resulting in over 1,000 housing units entitled and built. Prior to working at Catellus, Ms. Diamond was a Project Associate at Moore Iacofano Goltsman (MIG), a planning firm involved in community outreach and public information programs. Ms. Diamond received her Master of Arts in Urban Planning at the University of California at Los Angeles and a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, with a concentration in urban design and planning. She currently sits on the Board of the Urban Land Institute’s San Francisco District Council, serving as the Chair of the District Council, past Chair of Mission Advancement and Chair of the Program’s Committee. Ms. Diamond is also a member of Lambda Alpha International, the former Chair of the Green Working Group for the Building Industry Association of the Bay Area and a current Board Member for Lao Family Services, a social services organization focused on immigrant communities.
