Grant Ehat, Partner Willard Retail Willard is a boutique real estate investment firm founded in 2016. Willard is focused on retail acquisitions and development on the east coast of the U.S. Grant is responsible for activities associated with the acquisition of retail assets, assisting in the oversight of development efforts, and influencing all new business development activities. Prior to founding Willard Retail he held a similar position at JBGR Retail which was sold to JBGSmith in 2016, His development history includes more than one million square feet of ground-up retail development and over 1,000 residential units at some of the Washington area’s most notable projects such as North Bethesda Market and Market Square at Frederick in Maryland; 77 H Street in Washington, DC; and Woodland Park Crossing, Kings Crossing, and 1700 Duke Street in Virginia. A 25+-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, He holds a B.B.A. from James Madison University, and is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
