David Fischer

Biography:

David Fischer is an energy and climate risk professional with 10 years of experience across the public and private sector. He is currently Senior Product Manager for Climate Risk at Munich RE and helping internal and external clients better integrate and manage climate risks. Before he was an Official in the Office of the Chief Economist of the International Energy Agency, leading its power sector investment, competitiveness, and climate risk work. He was also a core contributor to the IEA’s annual World Energy Outlook, World Energy Investment and other special reports. Other experiences include co-heading PwC’s product development of its Climate Excellence Tool being part of the EU ETS team at the European Commission’s DG Clima. David holds a MSc in Environmental Change & Management from the University of Oxford. Member Directory
