Biography:
October 2012 PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY FOR HAL FERRIS Hal has over 30 years of real estate development, management, and construction experience, and has led the development of urban mixed use mixed income projects, historic renovations, affordable housing and collegiate services. Hal is involved in all aspects of Spectrum’s practice, providing leadership in creative sustainable development techniques, public/private partnerships, planning, design, construction management and a variety of financing solutions. These include tax exempt bond financing and low income, historic and new market tax credits along with traditional debt and private equity. Previously Hal was a Partner at Lorig Associates, a real estate and development management firm, and a Partner at W.G.Clark Construction Company, a commercial general contractor. He has been Chair of ULI Seattle, Advisory board member Terwilliger Center for Housing, Member of the RPIC product Council and Chair of the Bellevue Planning Commission. Hal earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Portland.
