James Feild
Biography: James Feild is the Chief Investment Officer of Cienda Partners focused on the formation and capitalization of the Dallas Opportunity Zone Fund. The fund will invest in Qualified Zone Businesses that are developing sites in the Oak Farms Master planned community. Prior to joining Cienda, Jamea was the Central Region CDB Market Executive and Real Estate Development Executive for Bank of America Community Development, where he was responsible for the operations of Banc of America Community Development Corporation (the “CDC”), a for-profit, public-purpose real estate development company that has developed or redeveloped more than 27,000 units of affordable and mixed-income housing. During his career, James has played a leading role in community development initiatives, structuring and closing more than $4 billion of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit investments, over $2 billion in community development debt originations, the first proprietary Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Fund, the National Community Investment Fund, and the Raza Development Fund. He also developed and implemented the bank's Community Development Financial Institution initiative, investing more than $100 million and qualifying for more than $5 million in Bank Enterprise Awards BEAs). James graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington where he majored in business with a focus in real estate. James is a member of the Urban Land Institute Affordable Workforce Housing Council, Chairman of the Raza Development Fund board and a member of the Community Development Trust board.
