Please see my biography at www.goodwinprocter.com. I am a partner in the firm's Business Group, head the firm's public/private development practice and serve as the Los Angeles Office Chair. I specialize in the interface between the public and private capital markets. I am often called upon by the public and private sectors in connection with structuring and executing large scale, "place making" project financings such as LA Live, the Cinerama Dome ArcLight Theaters, the Princess Cruiseline Terminal, Emerson College's Hollywood Campus, Lake Las Vegas, Avalon Bay's Bart Station Transit Oriented Development in the East Bay, and all forms of infrastructure financings for water, transportation, housing, environmental remediation, education and community development in California, Arizona, Nevada, Massachusetts and New York. The financings may involve either or both public and private equity, debt, mezzanine loans, governmental subsidies, tax-exempt bonds, syndications of synthetic leases or standard real estate financings.
