William Flaherty

Biography:
William H. Flaherty Bill Flaherty operates a real estate advisory practice that utilizes his extensive industry experience and relationships with a focus on real estate investments and developments that are of a professional and personal interest. Previously, he served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Rosewood Property Company, a Dallas, Texas based development and investment organization from 2011 until his voluntary retirement from Rosewood in June 2019. Flaherty held senior executive positions at the Irvine Company where he introduced and directed innovative customer engagement initiatives and creative marketing & leasing programs. Prior to Irvine Company, Flaherty was Senior Vice President, Leasing & Marketing for Maguire Properties an LA-based publicly traded REIT. At Maguire, responsibilities included major transactions, interaction with major customers, analysts, investors and joint venture partners. From 1998-2002 Flaherty was with Hillwood where he directed all sponsorship, suite and premium sales for the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and introduced the surrounding mixed-use Victory project, a joint venture of Hillwood and Southwest Sports Realty, with AAC as the premier anchor. Prior to joining Hillwood, Flaherty was a partner with MaguirePartners, where he was responsible for marketing and leasing. Flaherty began his real estate career at Rosewood Property Company, where he was a Senior Vice President and directed leasing and marketing activities for office properties owned by Rosewood and The Caroline Rose Hunt Trust, including its landmark development - The Crescent. Flaherty is a full member of ULI and is active in NAIOP, ICSC, The Real Estate Council and other industry and community organizations, such as the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.
