Brian Goggin

Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing
Biography:
I am an affordable housing professional with a passionate interest in growing urban areas through infill development and preserving affordability through subsidized housing. Currently, I work as a real estate developer creating new multifamily subsidized housing in the Washington, DC area. In this role, I also work with housing policy makers, the real estate industry, and urban planners to find creative solutions to increase the supply of affordable housing throughout the region. Outside of work, I am also a staunch advocate for land use reform and investments in public transportation that will allow for the sustainable growth of urban areas into the future. You can sometimes find me blogging at Greater Greater Washington. I have previously interned at the San Francisco Planning Department, where I created an online application to visualize and summarize the city's development pipeline—developmentmap.sfplanning.org.
