David Glover

Biography:
David Glover is a principal with Gensler. He is also the global leader of the form’s Retail Centers practice, and a design leader in the Los Angeles office. His 32 years of experience has yielded a robust portfolio of high profile urban mixed-use, entertainment, and retail centers, as well as large-scale master plans throughout the world. His approach is rooted in interdisciplinary design that promotes collaboration, fosters innovation and value creation, and amplifies awareness for new technologies and building systems. Prior to joining Gensler in 2007, David was Design Director for Westfield Corporation’s U.S. operations, Global Executive Creative Director for Universal Studios, and senior associate at the Jerde Partnership. Mr. Glover studied architecture at the University of Southern California. Early in his career, David won the Young Architects award from the Architectural League of New York, and In 1983 he received the USC Scholar-in- Residence which privileged him to live and study at the national Historical landmark, Gamble House, located in Pasadena, California. His projects and ideas have received numerous awards and frequent publication. David taught Architecture, Urban Design, and Environmental Design for twelve years at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles. He has also been a guest Critic and lecturer at several Universities and conferences. Mr. Glover is a member of ICSC and contributes lectures and resides in Glendale, California with his wife, Pauline and daughter, Nichola. Member Directory  Arrow
