Biography:

Jake Gordon is the Chief Executive Officer of Downtown Vision Inc, the business improvement district non-profit for Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Funded from an assessment of commercial & residential property owners, DVI has a mission to make “DTJax” a more exciting place to live, work, visit and invest. Mr. Gordon came to Jacksonville in 2015 from Camden, NJ where he was Vice President at Cooper’s Ferry Partnership (now Camden Community Partnership) as well as Executive Director of the Camden Special Services District BID. Jake has also worked for years as an attorney for O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Downtown Los Angeles, guiding major clients through large-scale litigation. He is Immediate Past Chairman of the ULI Public Private Partnership Product Council Gold Flight (PPPC-Gold) as well as a member of the Advisory Board of ULI North Florida. He is a past member of ULI Philadelphia and a past chair of ULI Philly’s South Jersey Council. In 2018, the Jacksonville Business Journal named Jake one of North Florida's "Ultimate CEOs".
