Biography:

KEN GRIMES Ken Grimes joined Patterson at the launch of the company and has been a partner in the business since 2016. Ken’s background spans a dual career path of marketing and real estate investment banking – combining to help underwrite and understand investment opportunities and then effectively develop and communicate the opportunity. In addition to heading the Charleston office, Ken is also part of the leadership team and works with Patterson team members on various client projects across the platform as well as corporate strategic initiatives. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Prior to joining Patterson, Ken spent more than six years with Eastdil Secured, a leading real estate investment bank that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company. At Eastdil Secured, Ken was involved in transactions in a variety of roles including: the ES multifamily platform, investment sales and equity/debt raise initiatives. Before Eastdil Secured, Ken had a career in the marketing field working on both the agency and corporate side of the business. In the marketing world, Ken was responsible for brand development for boats.com, helped launch the Ketchum Sports Group and led distinct client teams servicing major clients/brands including: Delta, Bombardier, Clorox, Parke Davis, Harley-Davidson, Atlanta Super Bowl, Levi’s, Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse and Visa.
