Biography:

Sam Gaines is the President of Spruce Peak Realty, the development company responsible for Spruce Peak, the luxury slopeside community at the base of Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont that includes the 312-room Lodge at Spruce Peak, the exclusive Club at Spruce Peak as well as a number of dining, shopping, recreational and entertainment amenities. Sam has overseen $500M of mixed-use construction at Spruce Peak, and he has presided over $750M of luxury residential sales. Sam is also a Managing Director of Corebridge Financial Real Estate Investors, which comprises a group of international companies within Corebridge Financial that invests in and actively manages approximately $12 billion of real estate. Sam lives in Stowe with his wife Molly, son Theodore, and daughters Lois and Beatrice. He is active in the local Stowe community where he is the chair of the Stowe Land Trust, board member and treasurer of the Mt. Mansfield Academy, and president of the Spruce Peak Resort Association.
