Terri Gumula

Biography:
Terri Gumula is an accomplished real estate professional and industry thought leader. She is an engaging public speaker on a variety of real estate topics including sustainability, ESG goals, NYC’s Climate Mobilization Act, and NYC Local Law 97, as well as workouts, restructuring, investment sales and other real estate-related matters. Previously, she was the Director for Tri-State Investment Sales at Avison Young involved with multi-family, office, retail, and development investment sales throughout the New York Metro area. Before Avison Young, she restructured, sold, disposed and/ or removed over $1.1B of assets and asset managed a $2B portfolio under Citigroup Global Markets. Previous experience includes equity asset management, acquisitions, valuations, budgeting, capital oversight, and marketing strategy, as well as real estate technology software. She has extensive finance and equity experience from owner and lender perspectives and strong national contacts across various relationships including banks, owners, third parties, etc. Terri received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is actively involved with a number of leading real estate organizations including Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Lenders Association, Young Men/Women’s RE Association, and Women in Housing & Finance. She is on the board of several organizations including Art Omi, Town and Village, etc. She has taught real estate finance at New York University (NYU) and Baruch College in New York City.
