James Hedden

Biography: Jim is currently Owner and Managing Member of Treun Realty Investments LLC. Treun acts as principal and owner’s representative, sourcing development and acquisition opportunities that provide high-quality real estate investments. Treun oversees all aspects of the investment from acquisition through development to completion and provides ongoing asset management focusing on value creation. Jim plays an active role in negotiating all contracts, working closely with legal, design, construction and marketing professionals to ensure the highest quality product. Jim emphasizes communication and diligence between all disciplines and stakeholders as a guiding principle of the company’s core values and success. Current projects include a 1M square foot residential development in Queens, NY and several multi-family development projects in Miami Beach, Fla. Prior to Treun, Jim was Chief Development Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Rose Associates Inc. where he was responsible for developing over 1.8M square feet of residential and mixed-use properties valued in excess of $2B. Jim was an Executive Vice President of Bank of America’s Real Estate Department managing the New York City, Long Island and New Jersey offices with a portfolio in excess of $2B. He is a member of ULI’s New York Housing Counsel. He was formerly Chairman of the Board of the New York City Housing Partnership and a past member of the REBNY Board of Governors.
