Biography:
Sophie is a Principal in the European Division of the international design practice, STUDIOS Architecture, based out of Paris. She leads the business development; communication and marketing efforts for the practice in Paris as well as co-manages the firmwide communication council. As managing director, she is also tasked with the general management of the office. She joined STUDIOS in 2007 and was promoted to Associate Principal in 2011. In 2013 she was named a Principal and in April 2015 she became managing director of the Paris office. Sophie served as Juror for the ULI Global Awards from 2015 to 2017 and Juror for the ULI Europe Awards from 2019-2023. In 2022 she acted as Chair for both the Europe and Global awards. She is a long-standing member of ULI France and initially set up the French Urban Regeneration Product alongside Sigrid Duhamel. She is also a ULI Europe/EMEA Global Governing Trustee. Prior to joining STUDIOS, Sophie had an extensive career in publishing. She was the Associate Publisher of the Art Newspaper and, prior to that, was Commissioning Editor at a variety of high-profile publishers both in Paris and London. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a First Class honors degrees in French Literature and Art History from University College London (UCL). Member Directory  Arrow
