Biography:

George S. Iliff is the Managing Director of the Colliers International offices in San Francisco and San Mateo, California. These offices are commercial real estate service providers with emphasis on investment sales and office, industrial and retail leasing. Additionally, they provide property management and hotel brokerage services. In 2000, the total combined sales volume of the two offices was over $2.6 billion, of which $1.9 billion was investment sales. Prior to his current position, which he has held for six years, George was President of Colliers McCaullay Nicols U.S, operations, a position he held for two years subsequent to the sale of Iliff, Thorn & Co. From 1980 to 1994, he was a founder, Chairman and CEO of Iliff, Thorn, growing it from scratch to a regional commercial real estate services firm with 250 sales people in twelve offices in three western states. He is currently a member of World President's Organization and a director of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, where he is chair of the Real Estate Committee. He has been a member of ULI for over fifteen years and has actively participated in Spring Council Forums and Fall Meetings and is committed to maintain his involvement in the Council process.
