Jack Illes
Biography: Jack Illes is an experienced real estate development executive with an established track record in high-profile, large scale project development across the United States and internationally. His experience includes the design and development of resorts, hotels, shopping centers, residential communities and mixed-use entertainment destinations, in a variety of roles ranging from management to design and leasing. His real estate advisory practice, Urban Strategies, works with clients and strategic partners such as Vornado, Shea Properties, Highgate and Citizen M Hotels, Price Entities and The Irvine Company. Jack is an experienced deal maker in transactions ranging from property sales to retail and restaurant leasing, and was integral while at TrizecHahn Corp. to the return of the Academy Awards to Hollywood, and the revitalization of many other urban districts, including Times Square in New York, Back Bay of Boston and both downtown San Diego and Los Angeles. Other work includes major suburban developments like Park Meadows in Denver and Bridgewater Commons in New Jersey. Jack is a dedicated amateur swimmer and is interested in design, architecture and travel, enjoys both cities and beaches, and lives atop a historic architectural landmark building in Koreatown in Los Angeles. Jack graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Public Policy/Urban Land Management and Master studies in Urban Development and Planning.
